In preparation for our Winter Fayre that will take place on December 14th, we need YOU to fill Jolly Jars for us to sell and help us raise funds for the school.

What is a Jolly Jar?
A Jolly Jar is a clean jam jar decorated by the children filled with goodies for either a boy or a girl like; sweets, chocolate, small toys, stickers, erasers, small pencils/pens/crayons – things you might find in a party bag.
They are sold for £1 each at the Winter fayre and are hugely popular with children!
Try to make your jar appeal to both boys and girls. You can decorate your jar with stickers, glitter, and ribbon – the choice is yours. All jars must be delivered to the school office before 14th December.
Decorating and filling the jars is excellent fun and a lovely way to get into the festive spirit in the run-up to the Winter Fayre.
The kind of items which are really popular are:
– wrapped sweets
– unused small toys
– balloons
– stickers and stationery
There are a few rules to making a successful jolly jar:
– Please do not use jars that have contained vinegar or oil as the smell lingers and taints the goodies inside.
– Wrapped sweets only please for hygiene purposes.
– Please remember not to put nuts or food containing nuts inside your jar.
