Who are we?
The PTA or Parent Teacher Association organise and facilitate events that enrich our children’s educational experiences and build a stronger community.
We are set up as the Victoria Primary Charitable Trust (VPCT), a charity in Scotland with the registered number SC045994. We were established in 2015 by the Victoria Primary Parent Council to support Victoria Primary School by raising money for projects that enhance the school.
Our goal is to provide extra resources that help improve the educational experience for children attending Victoria Primary School and Early Learning and Childcare. We also work closely with the Heart of Newhaven Charity to support our local community.

Dear Parent and Carer,
On Wednesday, October 23rd we will be holding a PTA meeting at school at 4 pm.
All parents/ carers are welcome to attend.

How can I get involved?
- Come to a meeting

How do we raise funds?
Through events like Movie night, Winter Fayre and Gala Night. As well as ad-hoc fundraising activities.
Where does the money go to?
We have contributed towards the cost of children attending camp, Christmas gifts for nursery, P1, and P2, subscriptions to Sumdog, workshops and are currently fundraising to install playground equipment.
