Peanut contamination of Mustard

23 September 2024

We can confirm that Sysco GB do not source mustard ingredients directly from ‘FGS Ingredients’ or ‘G.T. Agro Industries’ businesses.

However, following the announcement by the Food Standards Agency that some mustard products imported to the UK have been found to contain undeclared peanut, Sysco GB immediately launched a thorough investigation into our own brand products containing mustard ingredients. We are continuing to analyse the responses to our alert, including test results.

We will continue to follow the FSA advice on case by case product risk assessments and will inform customers if any products need to be withdrawn or recalled.
